<description>In this credential crazy world we live in, I had always been a bit skeptical about the need for it. Especially if I thought I was acquiring the knowledge I needed and the skills I valued. But I have turned a big corner on this subject, largely because I have come to understand that, even though I may not consider it 'necessary' in my own terms, the world is far more likely to take my 'credentials' seriously as a marker for 'credibility'. And I do care about credibility.
