Hi Carla--great post! I happen to agree with you that one of the biggest benefits of blogging is for professional development. I've learned more in the past 18 months of blogging than I did in the previous 10 years of professional development activities. Blogging and reading/commenting on other blogs has really engaged me as a more active learner and forced me to integrate learning into my life on a daily basis. Plus, it's free!

I found this post to be an intriguing peek into the blogging world. I'm looking forward to having these "incisive conversations" with Maine's Volunteer Managers!
